This deal happened in the last segment of Asian Games Finals, China vs Hong Kong, China.
Indeed, the Game has gone into the rubbish time. There's no any chance for Hong Kong, China to win the game. Anyway, this still couldn't be the excuse to give up. Otherwise, they would smack themselves in the face. After all, Hong Kong, China always work miracles. They entered the knock out by two emphatic victories in the last two rounds. The forth was beaten by China so that they just over the fifth 0.2 VP. In the semi-final, they won the match just in one board gap. Facebook was full of the news of miracles created by Hong Kong, China.
However this deal showed how they kicked in the ass.

How to play now?
East cashed ♢AK and returned a trump. This is quite strange, why do Wang not return a trump in the second trick? There was only one reason that she didn't hold ♣A. She was afraid that ♢ loser would be discard on ♣. And she was Wang, it was impossible for her to continue to cash ♢, if she hold ♣A. For declarer, playing a small ♣ from table to K, then discarding a ♣ on ♢J(♢28 from West showing that she hold 3 cards ♢), after that discarding ♢6 on ♠A, at last cross ruffing. The contract was home.
However, North played strangely. Let's see...

Wang won with the ♣Q and returned the second trump... Hahaha, one down quickly...
♣T dropped!!!! Must be doubleton. Setting up ♣ was impossible. Cross ruff was easy and safe.

Only leading ♠ or ♡ could defeat the contract. However, it was normal for East to lead ♢A. In another table, North hadn't open so that the same contract but different declarer. Normal leading ♠Q had made contract down one. However, South brought contract home at last...
Trick North East South East
1 ♢3 ♠2 ♠A ♠Q
2 ♣K ♣T ♣2 ♣4
3 ♣3 ♣Q ♣7 ♣5
4 ♢4 ♢K ♢5 ♢2
5 ♢A!!!!
I didn't know the signal between E-W, but i thought ♢2 showed discouraging or odd cards? Cashing ♢A was right, if West hold doubleton ♢, then ruff a ♢, the contract would be broken. But now this situation didn't exist. And the loser on ♢ couldn't be discard on ♣ quickly. If the declarer hold 3 cards ♣, your partner would win and return ♢. If South only hold 2 cards ♣, cashing ♢K was the only way to help the declarer to unblock for cross ruff. All in all, shifting ♡ was a safe way to defeat the contract whatever the declarer hold.
This deal was quite funny. Under right defense and play, 12 IMPs would have been written on Hong Kong, China... However, 12 IMPs was written on China... In total, 24 IMPs gap.
To be honest, this is the lucky deal for Hong Kong, China. However, it doesn't make sense.
Although luck fairy always stand on Hong Kong, China, a large level difference between Hong Kong, China and China beat the luck fairy!!!
